My PowerSwitch

Power Switch for the Velleman K8400. I tried to make this based on a Conrad Power Switch (number 501638) with soldered contacts and a fuse-insert in which I placed a 3A fuse. I looked at the various other power switches published here and adopted some of the ideas (clicking the switch, a sliding lid, and more thx all). The box is mounted at the left side of the printer towards the front using the usual screws with hex nuts fixed in the box and bolts on the ouside. The result is not perfect (the opening for the cable could be at the vertex side panel, the height of the fixing part which touches the side panel could be 2 mm higher) but all in all I just mounted it like this and it seems to fit well. One needs to drill two holes in the side panel.
