In another attempt to test my MakerBot Digitizer 3D Scanner, I chose an object with uniform features, expecting better results. However, the scanner struggled with the intricate details on top of the mouse, resulting in a less-than-ideal scan. Upon trying a multi-scan, the preview for the second attempt appeared worse than the first. It seems my expectations were not met this time around.
