My Spudger

My Spudger

I work with computers everyday and use spudgers pretty regularly. I did find a design to print them instead of buying them so i gave that a shot. I found that the spudger was a fairly typical shape of what you can buy, but the PLA material did not hold up very well. In order to make a spudger printed from PLA material you need to make the design a little more robust. So when I came up with a concept I decided to try my hand at creating it, and I did find that this design hold up pretty well. So here it is. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 50% Notes: I designed this to print well without supports. The pointed end is not centered specifically for that reason. You may not need a raft, but since it prints best on one of the narrow edges I chose to use a raft for better adhesion, The infill is a little high as this is a tool that i expect to use a lot and I want it to hold up.
