MyBeam: Technic-compatible objects
thingiverse
This 3D-printable version of BitBeam is a parametric Technic-compatible beam that can be customized by specifying the number of holes in OpenSCAD. Simply render it to an STL file and you're ready to print. Unlike BitBeam, it has holes only on the top and bottom sides. To use, open mybeam.scad, change the hole count in "beam(15);", then choose Design→Compile and Render followed by Design→Export as STL for printing. Other useful files include angle_lever.scad for creating 4x4 technic-compatible levers, bush.scad for making bushes and half bushes, and gear.scad for creating gears using myGear(number_of_teeth=40, holes_row=4, holes_col=2) with the MCAD's gears.scad file from (https://github.com/D1plo1d/MCAD).
With this file you will be able to print MyBeam: Technic-compatible objects with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on MyBeam: Technic-compatible objects.
