Background: in Germany, dogs must wear a special tag from the local government signifying that dog tax has been paid. This is in addition to the customary name tag with contact information in case the dog is found. Two metal tags on a single collar is a recipe for mind-jarring noise, so I designed this bumper for my Munich dog tax tag to reduce the noise. I'm happy to report that this bumper works beyond my original expectations. I printed in FormFutura CarbonFiln at 240 degrees C, but a test print in FormFutura PLA/HPA at 205 degrees worked even better. There is a slight overhang (required for the tag to fit around the tax tag) and so this print is rather sensitive to settings. I printed without supports -- I didn't try it with!
