N - Scale Bare 8 Foot Deck with a concrete Wall for switch Machine

thingiverse

This is a bare 8 foot long deck with a concrete wall that can be placed on top of the switch machine's slide. Items such as barrels, crates or other items can be glued to the deck in front of the wall. You can print this deck with or without a hole in the front of the deck. The front hole can be used instead of the peg for the control wire going to the turnout. It is less conspicuous than the peg on the slide. If you use it cut the peg off the slide and fill the hole or download the file to print a top slide without a high peg... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4279017 If the small hole in the front of the deck doesn't print with your printer just drill a hole of the right size for your control wire .070 inches in from the end in the center. The deck with the wall is pushed back and forth to activate the DPST slide switch under it and also throws the turnout via the control wire to it. The DPST switch can also change the polarity of the frog. More on the switch machine and how it operates here .... http://1fatgmc.com/RailRoad/3D-Printer/3D-Printer-Index.html
