IMPORTANT :
obviously to mount these drawers it is necessary to build the lack module of my design that you can find at the link:
https://www.prusaprinters.org/it/prints/41111-n3o-lack-enclosure

DESCRIPTION
drawers for prusa mk3s lack enclosure.
Using these drawers it is possible to arrange LCD prusa, a drawer for tools, a drawer for USB connections and power supplies, a drawer for raspberry esp and relay.
This project is part of a structure of 4 lack tables that are part of my larger project to have an encluse structure to better rationalize the use of the prusa mk3s printer

In the drawer that contains LCD prusa there is also a space for the shelly 15A to be connected to a switch present between the switches that can be inserted in the drawer that allows you to turn on the printer manually, by means of mqtt or alexa.

The prusa LCD drawer is mounted in the front part of the lack and in the now empty space a button panel will then be designed to control the movimenty xyz, the switching on of the fans, the wire change etc ... (stay tuned)

On the right side of the lack instead there is the drawer that contains the USB transformer and the connections of the electrical contacts
and a second drawer that contains 1 raspberry 2 modules of 4 relays and 2 esp8266 boards

For now I only use aspberry with octoprint but the next evolution is to install octokeyboard which allows you to put physical buttons and this requires an esp8266 to work together with the raspberry

There are buttons in the LCD drawer

ON / OFF:
switch

Raspberry: turn on rasperry and esp usb transformer

Printer: I used a mometary switch but a normal switch can also be used with shelly.
I used a momentary switch because if you decide to turn off the printer at the end of printing or from alexa or from mqtt then the switch remained on when the printer was off

Humidity:
this button from current to the last module of the lack that contains the 3d filaments containing in turn another esp that measures humidity and if it exceeds a current threshold with a relay to a portable dehumidifier that I thought to build myself with a peltier cell but nn finding inspiration on the internet maybe he bought it for 20 € on amazon

LIGHT: the last button is dedicated to turning on the led lights that I installed on all 3 modules of the lack

PHOTO

1 PHOTO
Preview N3o Drawer LCD on N3o Lack

2 PHOTO
In the first photo you can see the overall view of the module from 4 lack ikea even if I have not yet finished the project there are missing glasses and control panel and humidity sensor (which is very nice to see but we will talk about it in another project)

The project for build a N3o Ikea Lack Enclosure is displonible at :
https://www.prusaprinters.org/it/prints/41111-n3o-lack-enclosure

3PHOTO
In the second photo you can see the front drawer which contains LCD prusa and the power buttons and the box for put SD card and little open box for put filament clip or other

4PHOTO
In the third photo you can see a detail of the prusa LCD drawer with the power buttons

5PHOTO
In the 4 photo you can see the front instrument drawer

6PHOTO
In the 5 photo we can see the high side drawer of the lack used for the necessary connections

7PHOTO
In the sixth photo we can see the drawer used for raspberry 4 2 esp8266 2 relay modules

8PHOTO
In the seventh photo, the box containing the first current connections is displayed to then distribute them to the side drawer used for connections.
In another project :
https://www.prusaprinters.org/it/prints/36273-lack-power

I released the files to put in the lack a connector with a switch that is used to power the whole lack and the box in question is mounted on the right side at the bottom right next to where you will have to mount the general connector available at this link and described in photo 8

9PHOTO
In the eighth photo you can see another N3o project N3oLackPower for mounting a general power connector to the lack

<a for lcd drawer button are 2.5mm diameter for power line and 1.5 mm for prusa power cable and 1mm for led light, but these cables that come out from the front LCD drawer and from the side connection drawer (top) are heavy and remain hanging limiting the sliding of the drawers for this reason I made two plates 50 mm high which are used to support the cables and prevent them from straining the opening of the drawers and in the long run ruin the connections with the buttons or the shelly
For mount 10 M5 70mm screws

the 2 file are : staffaCaviGrande.stl , staffaCaviPiccola.stl

the photo 19 shows how these two cable holders must be assembled

STAY TUNED
updates will follow for the control panel which also requires raspberry esp8266 software interventions

Print instructions

petg
nozzle 0.20
no suport
