V 2.0... This one works! Convert your Nalgene into a lantern! This adapter threads onto to a standard "wide mouth" Nalgene bottle, enabling users to create a quick, effective lantern. The adapter will clasp most modern (small diameter) flashlights, casting great illumination through the Nalgene bottle. It works even better if the bottle is full of water! ***This thing requires some additional screws and minor customization. The holes are designed to take a 1/4 20 screw and they need to be tapped. I recommend a 3/4" long thumb screw which is cheap and easy to find. You will need 4 screws. May this lantern light your path to adventure and discovery. Please let me know if you make one and how it worked out for you! Comments and critique welcomed! This "thing" was conceived in the majestic woods of southwestern Virginia. However, it was designed, realized and printed in the phenomenal Engineering dept. of New River Community College, under the guidance and encouragement of Jeff Levy.
