This is a joystick to replace the original direction pad for the Namco Bandai Blast HDMI game controller. The game has PAC MAN, DIG DUG, Galaga, and other retro games that do not play well with the original direction pad, so this mini joystick was designed. Remove the original direction pad by gently prying it out of the controller. It is a press fit and does not require much force to remove. You can use a butter-knife to wedge the original pad up and out. Place the 3D printed peg into the joystick. It may take a little hammering with a plastic hammer to seat the peg into the joystick completely. Place the joystick + peg into the controller. It should press fit in snugly, but should not take much pressure to push into place. Print the peg laying flat (longest dimension parallel to the build plate). This gives the peg the strength needed to tolerate the stresses applied during gameplay Print the joystick standing on end. Use a brim to help with adhesion. No supports are needed. Print both pieced with 100% infill. Enjoy.
