Name plate Pen/Pencil holder

This is loosely based on falcon20cne 's pen, pencil, tool holder which is a really great Thing ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39632 and it certainly deserves more than 14 likes and I should know cause I won 1st place in the International Pen Pencil Holder Cool Thing Judge Symposium back in '06 ) Anyway, enough about that and more about this thing. Did I mention it's a Pen/Pencil/Tool holder but you have the option of adding your name? Of course, adding your name is for the benefit of anyone who walks into your cube/office/personal space and isn't sure if they walked into the right place. Certainly it's not for you cause I'm assuming you already know your name and don't need a daily reminder of what your name is. Altho, you could just print one for your friend and then print it with your name so your friend will always know it was you who gave it to him/her ... but that's probably got some downside to it but for the life of me I'm not sure I'm seeing it. It is NOT, I repeat NOT and under no uncertain terms, for your mother-in-law. Doing something nice for her will just encourage her and send the wrong signal. ( Never send a signal to your mother-in-law, wrong or otherwise, unless it's accompanied by a minimum of 60Hz. ) anyway, print, assemble and enjoy. Instructions print the base as-is using your favorite color Load a copy of sketchup on your computer and start it. open the name.skp file and then select Tools, 3d Text. Input the name you want and select the font. I used script font. add the text to the drawing and scale it down such that it fits the long bar. If it fits the bar it will fit the holder. Make sure the bottom of the name and the long bar are touching so they print as one unit. add the name plate to the channel printed in the holder. I connected the name plate using some acetone.
