Build a name plate with any text! OpenSCAD script allowing you to define the text and the script will generate a nametag. Instructions Download and unzip Nameplate.zip Run Nameplate.scad and change the 'text' variable Consider some of the other vars if needed Export to STL, slice and print. Have a cold beer. TL;DR: Run Nameplate.stl and change the text, Export, Slice and print! Rookie Mistake #1: Ensure you have the most recent version of OpenSCAD. Rookie Mistake #2: This print will not work unless you are drinking a beer. This script uses the excellent Write.scad script written by HarlanDMii. Much kudos to him! You need Write.scad installed, I have included it in Nameplate.zip for your convenience.
