Nano Talon RunCam Split Mini Tilt-Mount

This is a collection of parts that allow you to mount a RunCam Split Mini neatly into the nose of a NanoTalon with the ability to 'tilt' the camera. It includes a couple of parts to use as a cutting guide so that you can get a neat fit. The camera is fitted (using two screws) into a holder that swivels inside a frame which is printed in two halves so that you do not need supports. It is designed so that the two frame halves can be glued together and then the camera holder pushed into place thru the front AFTER fitting the camera and making up a pushrod. I made a pushrod from a stiff paperclip and you would be wise to play round with getting the correct length to suit before installing into the model. See the photo of pushrod details. It doesn't really need the bend and what length works for you will depend somewhat on the length of the servo arm. Mine worked out at 28mm. The servo can be glued in place with or without the bracket part. The servo I happened to have measured 20mm x 8mm. There is also a support part for the RunCam PCB that fits neatly into a couple of the square holes in the battery board and has a cutout to allow the servo cable to feed down and under the battery board to your reciever or flight controller. Finally, depending on what servo you use you will most likely need to remove some material from the inside front of the canopy and maybe trim the edge of the black clips. I printed mine on an Ender 3, with the final version of the frame sides, camera holder and servo clip in ABS, the rest in PLA. It doesn't really matter what you use. The only pieces needing supports were the camera holder which is printed with the lense hole on the bed, the pcb mount which was printed flat side down but needed a little support for the two tabs/pegs and the larger of the two cutting template pieces. I increased the infill for the PCB mount to give it some extra strength. Enjoy!
