This sign is inspired by Nanoleaf panels. It can be customized to be as small as two panels and expanded out as many in a row as you like. I made a video that provides instructions on how to customize the blank panels to put your own letters or designs on them. It also goes step by step on how to assemble this project. https://youtu.be/hyKoZx_XSXQ. This project is powered with a 5V DC adaptor and uses an ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller. The lights are WS 2812 B, 5V individually addressable LEDs that are spaced 17 mm apart. I used the ones at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CDTEJBG/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_NTA0AT1NG112SED62MM7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. Additionally, you will need something to mount it on (I used wood). The holes in the inner guides are for #6 wood screws.
