This innovative moon rock and soil sampler boasts a cutting-edge design that is both lighter and more efficient. Key features include a motor powering all stages of sampling and separation, as well as 360-degree rotary film technology for seamless sample collection. The system can be easily installed on robotic arms or rovers, and an autosampler valve helps evaporate samples and prevent contamination. With no moving axial parts in the filter layers, clogging is minimized, and reverse rotation allows for easy removal of unwanted samples. Samples as small as 1.5 mm dust to 20 mm stones are filtered and transferred to containers, while a temporary storage tank ensures smooth sample collection and transport processes. The system weighs just 1500 grams (excluding the sampler) and includes a sterilizer weighing 500 grams. This design builds upon previous rotating models for enhanced performance. To facilitate sample viewing, both primary and temporary reservoirs are made of transparent polymers.
