*Power consumption*Power is almost 4-8 W as Nema 14 stepper is used for auger probe and reciprocating mechanism. Chain mechanism gets power from Rover.*Material*Parts are made of aluminium for chain (carry the regolith), hopper (collects sample), Auger probe (drills sample), whereas Teflon for cylinder covers Auger Probe. Once the rover starts moving, surface rocks are collected and collected in container through hopper. When the limit sensor detects the filling of rock, rover is made to stop.Now, Nema stepper motor is made to start by programming Ardurino board. The mechanism for moving 10 cm deep has been modeled and was referenced from Reciprocate Gear Mechanism. Now the auger probe digs through regolith and collect sample which then transferred to transferring tube finally to container.When it is fully filled, sensor senses the block and Nema stepper motor stops.
