Machine will work on rotation of motor and by clockwise rotation cage will allow rocks less than 2cm diameter.due to further rotation rocks less than 1cm will be drop down.and rocks between 2cm to 1cm will be collected into container.And to collect fine regolith it will be rotate anticlockwise. there is a filter into pipe by which sample will be filter and fine regolith will be collect into container.my design requires only one stepper motor. My designed machine can be attach to robotic arm.
