Nautilus e-cigarette vape atomiser tool
thingiverse
This is a simple tool I created to assist me in removing the ring from the bottom of my Nautilus atomiser on my e-cigarette. The original Nautilus tank requires the bottom ring to be separated every time it's refilled, and this process can be quite challenging to accomplish. With the newer version 2, I only need to remove the ring to change the coil, but even that can be very difficult and frustrating. Primarily, this is because there isn't a straightforward way to grasp the ring, so this tool is intended to slip over it and be pressed firmly until the small plastic protrusion fits into the vent slot. With some pressure applied to the tool, it's then much easier to twist the ring off. I designed the tool to fit snugly over the tank, ensuring it won't break in use. However, if it's pressed too hard when not positioned over the ring, it may break unless printed with a flexible filament, so please be cautious. I developed this tool using OpenSCAD, and therefore included the design file for anyone who would like to modify it.
