Navy SM-2 Missile Challenge Coin Holder

Navy SM-2 Missile Challenge Coin Holder

I have numerous challenge coins in my collection that are too big to fit my standard holders. So I made one with larger slots and made it look like an SM-2 Missile as I was previously stationed on Aegis ships. It's cut into three pieces, each 150mm long so as to fit on my 150x150x150 print bed. There are holes to insert excess filament into to help guide and hold the pieces together. I printed 3 stands to attach to the holder and it bears the weight of the coins pretty well. I used artist's Gloss Gel Medium as the adhesive. I originally used it as water on small scale ship dioramas but works great holding PLA together. It's available at any major arts and crafts store. Update 23 Mar 19 - Took holder to display at work and filled it with the coins I already had there. It's almost full to capacity and it has no issues holding the weight and balances quite well
