This was created as a way to make a finished-looking housing for my custom wiring harness used to connect my Megasquirt ECU and the OEM wiring harness. The harness that I built was based on the guide from Trubo Kitty and used the TE Connectivity part number 178764-1 which matches the female connector on the stock ECU unit. This harness allows for connecting the standalone unit without cutting the factory harness. The directions This is for the NB1 Miata and is designed for the 1999-2000 ECU connector. I have included the original Solidworks files and Step files. I do not know the differences in the connector between the 99-00 and the 01-05 NB2 models. I modeled the connector itself when creating my design by measuring the connector and using the datasheet from the Mouser electronics website. Unfortunately, I don't recall the size of the nuts and machine screws used in the housing.
