Finding 12V smart switches turned out to be incredibly challenging. Eventually, I discovered a WIFI version that can be configured to work seamlessly with Home Assistant, built a Housing to enclose it, allowing it to function as a normal switch while also being controlled by the smart controller. Although this device is primarily cloud-based and controlled, it can be configured to operate on a local network only if your router has parental controls in place to block web access to specific devices. This setup requires some effort, but it's well worth it in the long run for having a 12V powered smart switch. 1. A router with WIFI installed in your RV is required. 4. Internet access is necessary for initial setup of the switch, but not after that's completed. 5.
