Nebulon B Frigate Clamp

Nebulon B Frigate Clamp

Over here at ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Squadron we printed a Nebulon B Frigate, funded by anonymous investments from clandestine accounts in offworld exchange stations in the Unknown Regions, but just as production got going the ship snapped in half along the spine during a construction accident that resulted in the frigate meeting the shop floor at high velocity. Some of the workers involved are known Imperial sympathizers and one has been convicted for the sale of glitterstim. Rebel command assures loyalists that the workers at fault will be punished, though the servo-welders' union remains a powerful political force in the south-southeast extension base on Yavin and looks to flex its bureaucratic muscle in the ensuing litigation. In view of these circumstances, the medium freighter mechanic division designed this clamp to connect the spine sections of the Nebulon B and hopefully provide some kind of extra hull reinforcement. Who is designing these capital ships that they are so easily destroyed anyway? Mining is a dirty, destructive process, and even a cursory glance at the geoplanetary-stats in mining guild archives demonstrates that we are depleting our galaxy's natural resources at an alarming rate. Don't get me wrong, both my brothers and my father fought in the Rebel Alliance, and my grandfather knew Bail Organa's cousin. But sometimes it's like the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire are locked in perpetual conflict on purpose, making us more docile in the process. It was foretold in the prophecy of Angladon that when the stars surrounding the nebulae of Orisnizoe-4 reach their maximum fiscious altitude relative to the second planet of the Quad-nair system, a conquerer-people from Beyond The Not-Yet-Known-West will rise from the fire-caves of Smilindion and subdue the Haplaster Regency. The evidence is clear, so I won't state the obvious; instead, I'll just tell you to keep in mind the implications of this for the fate of hyperspace travel beyond the Tingel Arm. You might not agree with me and that's OK, but I hope you can at least see where I am coming from. Once we get our check from an anonymous source via sketchy means we will continue production and get this clamp on this ship to get this war bird in in the sky. May the force be with you.
