NEC Future Desk Entry

This is my WIP desk that I will continue to develop. It is designed to have a single person sitting in front of 1-3 monitors (shown with 2). I am working under the concept that discreet workstation cases can be made obsolete with work being done via a on-site server interface or straight to the cloud. Connections can be made directly through a panel on the desk. The connection hub contains 4x USB, 2x Thunderbolt, and 1x RJ45 (Ethernet). The setup assumes wireless integration such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and all components can be made to be wireless (sans monitor unless NEC has a wireless display available). Any local interface controls can be made into a control box that can be hidden under the raised section under the monitors. The glass paneling is meant to be an opaque smoked glass for the more skirted among us. A company logo could easily be etched into the panel for a sleek look. Future ideas include: -Integrating more components e.g. Keyboard/mouse to a projected-type of system. -Working more connections into hub. e.g. Power outlets. -Integrate drawings/cabinets into the surfaces on either side of the user.
