Just like the in the name, this product will become a dam for your neck. The streamlined design allows you to breathe. However, it will not enable you to swallow food with ease. The intention of our product is not to completely block food from entering your body, but it is to transform the pleasant experience of binge eating to an unpleasant and painful experience. By doing so, you will consciously stop eating and will train your mind not to eat over. Our design is carefully thought out, and there are two particular bumps around your neck which press against your muscles that are responsible for the action of swallowing. Instructions to build the Neck Dam: Open the Neck Dam.obj and Ring.obj on Makerbot. Copy and paste the ring object so that you have two rings. Adjust size of the object depending on your neck circumference. Use two strips of cloth or flexible plastic strips to make a ring belt buckle. Tighten it to your neck as shown in the example pictures and you are ready to go.
