Neiko Calipers Stand

Neiko Calipers Stand

Remix of Labtec901's Calipers Stand. I created a new cradle for my Neiko calipers, and modified the base to use a weight I had lying around to stabilize it. The base will likely not be useful to you unless you happen to have a weight of the dimensions 28.5x29x5.5mm, but I threw it up anyway- I ripped the weight out of the arm of a Logitech C270 webcam when I took it apart, so if you happen to have one of those you've got the weight I used! I put two versions of the stand up- one that has the slot for the base built in, and one that is 2mm thinner with no slot. I did this for two reasons: - So you can create your own adapter if you want to use a different stand - So you can print the cradle with no bridging required and save a little filament if you want to print it in two parts. Notes: - The slot to connect to the base is off center- this is by design. It's closer to the center of gravity for the calipers when they're sitting on the stand, and I think it looks good where it is.
