This is a plate to adapt the high quality coreless namiki DC servo motors with encoders that can be found on ebay to mount with anything that will take a NEMA 17 footprint. These can be used to implement closed loop control for systems that used to use steppers. The shaft diameter is a bit less than the standard NEMA 17 one, (4.5 instead of 5mm) but a piece of rubber tubing around it can be used if you need it to fit an existing mount. It can also add a spot for a 'SickOfBeige' compatible DP3030 circuit board for control electronics. set the add_circuit_board flag to true at the top of the scad file to add it. Print Settings Notes: PLA may crack when the screws are tightened. PETG, ABS or a high quality PLA that is less brittle should be used. Post-Printing Add 4 M3 nuts to the 4 corners, use a tightened screw to fully seat them into their spots. Use 4 small screws to attach face to motor. Many of these motors come with a small faceplate with two mounting holes already attached, you can safely remove it and re-use the screws.
