This is a experimental geared reduction for nema 17 motor. The ratio is 14/30. Originally planned to use a belted reduction part, but ordering the belt and pulley would have taken too long so designed this instead. Also wanted to see how well this would work.

You'll need a 51mm long metal rod with 5mm diameter and file it properly, see the mock_shaft model.

Also two 625zz bearings are needed for the shaft.

For fixing the gears in place, 4 square M3 nuts and 4 6-8mm M3 screws are needed.

For the reduction body assembly, assorted M3 screws (12-16mm) and square M4 nuts are needed.

OpenSCAD sources: https://github.com/spegelius/3DModels/tree/master/Nema_17_geared_reduction
Category: 3D Printer Parts
