Hi everyone, I have a Makerbot replicator 2 and he dont want to print. The extruder always jam, tick or something. So i wanted to add more torque to the extruder. Finding a nema 17 motor with the right connections and a gearbox seemed like a hard endeavor. And beside it would have been quite heavy so i decided to print one. This project seemed promising https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2687216, so i grabbed fusion 360 and tried to assemble the parts from the STL...turn out the soft dont like all those triangles at all. so i decided to draw the part in fusion 360 to have a clean project. I am provinding here the Fusion files. This is my first post and i am a beginner. About the geometry : The inner diameter of the central gear is 5mm and has a flat that is 1.8 mm from the center, this should allow a tight fit. The "planet" gears have a 3.1 mm circular hole so a M3 screw would rotate in it. credit to : Forest Moon Productions who made the Fusion360 Macro used for the external gear. https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=6294804001663532834&appLang=en&os=Win64&autostart=true
