If you want, you can help me with designing inserts by donating here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=J2YS7MREH8MU8 Hello everyone. This is my first ever project - I started learning blender and 3d printing by designing it. Since this is my first project - a little introduction what can you expect from this and future projects - I want my inserts to become a part of a game, not only storage solution. That's why I'm focusing on designing inserts splitted into multiple components, so you can take most of them out and put on table, and other components not needed after start of the game - leave in a box. I also want each type of component separetely stored, so it will speed up start of the game and cleaning up after. This is how I also designed this insert. This insert is only for base game and I don't plan to include any expansion - there is no space for it (maybe in future I will add medic, because I think I could be able to fit it, but for now I don't have it). It is designed to fit sleeved cards (Sloyca 70 microns) It almost fits perfectly - around 5mm is outside of the box (instruction, map is perfectly sitted ). Components: I used plugin in Cura - Auto-Orientation - Calculate for Extended Optimal Printing Time. Cards used before game: Card_Holder_1s_2l - print 1, no supports, for 1 character and for intruder action cards Card_Holder_1s_3l - print 1, no supports, for cordinates, objectives, character choice cards, help cards, put it in that order Card_Holder_2s_2l - print 2, supports required, for 2 characters Card_Holder_2s_3l - print 1, supports required, for 1 character, character ilustration cards, solo /coop objectives, intruder weakness cards, put in that order starting from thinner small card space Here supports are required only for top small card containers Dashboards: Dashboard_Holder - print 1, no supports, for player dashboards and scanner, thanks to scanner it's tight fit Cards used during game: Deck_Holder_Large - print 4, no supports it's for other cards that you will need during game, like wounds, events etc. Deck_Holder_Large - print 4, no supports, it's mainly used for storage, so cards will be safe in holders when you put it inside box Deck_Holder_Small - print 4, no supports Deck_Holder_Small_Cover - print 4, no supports Print these on back side (vertically). They include magnets support, so you can install 6mm (D) x 3mm (H) magnets, 32 magnets will be required. They are also stackable. Exploration Tokens: Exploration_Token_Holder - print 1, no supports, it's designed for tokens in shields (from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4926791 ) Intruder Tokens: Intruder_Token_Holder - print 1, no supports, it's designed for tokens in shields (from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3871045 ) Ammo/Wounds, Doors, Dices, Noise, Malfunction, Fire, Status Tokens: Items_Holder - print 1, no supports, doors and stands are stored separately Items_Holder_Cap - print 1, no supports, it's mainly for storage, so tokens won't fly around the box when moving it Miniatures: Miniatures_Huge_Box - print 1, no supports, for queen, reapers and larva Miniatures_Large_Box - print 1, no supports, for large adult intruders Miniatures_Medium_Box - print 1, no supports, for small adult intruders Miniatures_Small_Box - print 1, supports required, for creepers Miniatures_Player_Box - print 1, no supports (print on back side (with circles)) Eggs, 5x wound tokens, corpse tokens, exclamation mark token: Other_Tokens_Holder - print 1, no supports Room Tiles: Room_Tiles_1 - print 1, no supports, for 1 level room tiles Room_Tiles_2 - print 1, no supports, for 2 level room tiles Engines, cat, escape pods: Ship_Token_Holder - print 1, no supports It should take around 1,5kg to print everything. Most of the components have 1.6mm walls, but some have 2mm, deck holders have 4mm. In future probably I will come back to it and redesing some components to save more filament - I want to reduce to at least 1,2kg, but I probably won't reduce wall thickness (tried 1mm but it's to thin for me, maybe I will check 1.2mm, but probably change almost everything to 1.6mm). Components that will be redesigned in few months, they will still fit the current setup: - Tiles Holder - filament saving - Deck Holder - don't like the look of it, maybe I will redesing it, other than that - I will add like 2mm to height so it will be better fit for stacking and I will look for solution to save filament - Intruders Holder - filament saving - Items Holder - better cover system and maybe filament saving - Other Holder - filament saving - Small, Medium, Large Mini Holder - filament saving, similar to Huge Mini Holder - Ship Holder - right now it's around 0.6mm gap between tokens and walls and they are loose, I will probably lower that to 0.4mm, also filament saving
