Neopixel/WS2812B Strip LED Matrix

thingiverse

A matrix holder for WS2812B LED's. These can be folded up and placed into the holder so that they light up individual squares as pixels. I used 4 of them to create a 8x32 matrix, bound together by gluing using the "binder" parts. This is yet another new design inspired by The [Lazy Grid Clock v2](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4263318) by Parallyze and [12x12 matrix for WS2812B LEDs](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5138944) by Baske. The main inspiration is the way the LEDs are held facing sideways. The bill of materials for the build as shown includes: * 4 x 8x8Matrix.stl * 3 x 8x8MatrixBinder.stl * 4 x Straight_Frame_Section.stl * 2 x Frame_Corner_1.stl * 2 x Frame_Corner_2.stl * 1 x power_connector_boot.stl (_Optional_) **NOTE** The FreeCAD file is downloadable and I would love to see updates. ### Build Instructions See [this Instructable](https://www.instructables.com/Pixelli-3D-Printed-WS2812B-LED-Strip-Matrix/) for build instructions. ### Software The software can be found [here](https://github.com/csetera/pixelli).
