The Nephilim are Cast out Angels who did not agree with the brutality, and cruelty of Exiling half of the entire Maor Taph society and chose to enter into exile with the Satu. As noble of an act as this may have been, they have not been immune to the effects of Hell, and the effects Hell have had on their fellow Maor Taph. They are outcasts, but not the recipients of the full force of rage that YHWH leveraged against the Satu, but their Light is quite diminished from what it once was in Paradise. They retain their sanity and self identity, and struggle every day to remind the survivors of who they truly are. In many ways, the Nephilim are the bridge between Despair and Hope!
