We have an acrylic aquarium with wide eurobracing so the mount that came with the AFS wouldn't work for us. Our stand is a custom 8020 aluminum with integrated light fixture uprights and I wanted to leverage this to mount the AFS. I used the base plate from the markstubbs' thing and designed a custom mounting bracket for 8020 channel slightly offset so the Aquabus plug is not blocked by the upright. I used black PLA cause that's what I had handy. You might use PETG or ABS but the PLA seems strong enough for the slight weight of the AFS. Use the plugs to join the base plate and mount together. Use a little superglue to ensure they stay in place. Pop the clip into the 8020 channel and you are good to go.
