Nerf belt blaster shell

I'm having trouble getting my prints out, anyone else experiencing this issue? It seems like the layers are skipping for some reason - could it be a problem with my printer or is there something I'm missing? Switching to air blaster mode appears to be working well so far. The different darts seem to be functioning properly. The hinge needs some fine-tuning, though - just a few small adjustments should get everything running smoothly.
