NERF BigShock Removable Barrel (Elite Dart and Rival HIR)

I wanted to create a NERF MEGA BigShock conversion mod to shoot RIVAL HIR's and Elite sized darts that was simple and did not require opening the blaster or any modification to the blaster itself. This mod is easily reversible as you can friction fit the barrel to your liking. You can create a similar well known mod with PEX pipe and a copper PVC coupler or by taping two cut MEGA darts, and this is an alternative to that. The barrel fits inside the MEGA barrel with the dart post intact, disables the air-restrictor (you do not have to remove the AR), and allows the air to push RIVAL HIR's and Elite sized darts out of the printed piece. Since the AR is disabled by the printed barrel, dry firing is not advised. You can push the Elite sized dart all the way till it stops and it will fire well. I tested it with EKind waffle head darts. Elite Darts seem to shoot harder. You can push the RIVAL HIR all the way in till it stops and it will also fire well. A layer or two of tape (I used regular tape in the picture in the Post-Printing section below) around the bottom of the barrel before the reduction will help make a tighter friction fit and remove any air gap between the printed piece and inside of the original barrel. Depending on how tight you fit it in, you may have more difficulty removing it. If I can get my hands on some brass, I may make a version to fit brass in the barrel.
