Don't have a printer? Shoot me a message and I can print this out for you! Like my work? A tip would be GREATLY appreciated! EDIT: 6/1/2020: I have determined 1-1/8x15/16x3/32 o-rings work perfectly with this in the stock longshot pt _____ EDIT: 5/25/2020: after not touching the file for a really long time I noticed some minor alignment issues that were really bugging me. The LONGSHOT BOLT revised.stl. is what you want to print _____ Inspired by flechette_spectre and Dryxhyl as well as the Sleeper Breech by Spectre_Armaments and its lipless derivatives. I used flechette_spectre's Ez breech v3 for about a year and noticed an alignment issue that led to some failures: the hole on the "nub" for the boltsled was a little bit too high, which caused the bolt to be tilted downward slightly. This caused the 9/16" brass to collide with the 17/32" barrel on the forward prime which led to 3 modes of failure: 1: The brass and printed "dart finger" would be flexed upward, causing the printed portion to be snapped off. 2: The barrel would get in between the brass and the printed portion of the dart finger, delaminating them. 3: The nub would be pulled entirely off the bolt on the forward prime. Noticing these issues, I CADed my own bolt from scratch, taking measurements from the stock Longshot bolt. Aside from fixing the alignment issue, I also extended the dart finger by emulating the shape of the stock dart finger. The purpose of this is twofold: more surface area for adhesion of the printed part to the brass, and so you don't have to sacrifice as much barrel length to create a dart guide, if you only have 12" brass at your disposal like me. After printing, shove a length of 9/16" brass all the way to the endstop to clear any blobs or zits inside the bolt. Then glue the 9/16" brass into the bolt - I used 2 part epoxy for this. Finally, cut the brass along the printed dart finger and sand/file/grind off any burrs. I also included a deadspace filler I modeled to go into the 9/16" brass. The inner diameter corresponds with the inner diameter of the endstop. The deadspace filler has fins so that even if the dart gets sucked/compressed into the deadspace filler, air can still get around the dart via the gaps between the fins to prevent vacuum loading.
