This is a pretty simple piece. The NERF M41A Pulse Rifle takes inspiration from a number of sources then NERFified it. Unfortunately, through these little translations/inspirations, the top "barrel" (where the real prop version's barrel should be) ended up being really stubby. So, I designed this little "shroud" to fit over the upper NERF "barrel". It's only around twice as long, but it gives the barrel more of a "realistic" look and extends it to closer match the movie's design aesthetic.
