=== UPDATE Feb 20 2021 === - Added Elite and Rival belt segments - Updated belt_ceiling.stl to reduce belt misalignments ======================== Nerf Megalodon mod to replace the drum with a belt feed. No blaster shell modifications required. Belt can be made of any combination of MEGA, Elite, or Rival segments. Firing test: https://youtu.be/NKXI1G-_CLs Drum and cap components are remixed from the Alternate Drums by AnUndeadDude (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3771296). The drum and cap works the same. All files except drumbuttonRV3.stl can be printed without supports. Assembly: You will need to print 4 copies of drum_quarter.stl and fit them together before mounting them onto drum_base.stl. Add the drum cap and ring into the quarter assembly before attaching drum_brace.stl last on top. Feed ramp halves screw together and slide onto the grey round section on the blaster up to the priming handle. Belt ceiling should snap fit into the space above the drum (refer to photo for correct orientation). You will need to supply your own: - Nerf screws (M2) x 15 - 25mm webbing for the belt - Spring for the drum button (C-692 from Bunnings - https://www.bunnings.com.au/century-spring-corp-15-9-x-38-1mm-compression-spring_p3971171) Files have been tested and work, although an external feeding mechanism will be needed to reliably feed long belts (eg. longer than 35 rounds).
