Nerf Persuader Hammer Extension

Nerf Persuader Hammer Extension

thingiverse

This design is the first I have uploaded to Thingiverse. The Nerf Persuader is similar to the Nerf DoubleStrike but it has 4 barrels on top of each other, instead of 2. As a result, the priming hammer is quite hard to reach, often requiring two hands instead of one thumb to operate. After installation of this part, I can operate this blaster one handed, making it an excellent sidearm. I stamped the window side of the part with my Octocat logo. I think it's cool, but if you really don't like it, and ask nicely, I can post one without the logo. The installation of this part requires disassembly. If you're the kind of person to own a 3d printer (or print mods for other Nerf blasters), this is one of the easier blasters to disassemble. Just unscrew the shell and slide out the hammer, spring, and plunger modules (they are connected at this point). Next, use a small hammer and screwdriver or something to gently tap out the pins connecting the hammer module to the spring and plunger, then replace the hammer module with my own. Reassemble. This project took 6 iterations to perfect, and if any more happen, I'll try to update this page. To reiterate, this is my first model I've posted online, ever. Any advice in the comments would be appreciated. Please be civil.
