Nerf Pole Target

Nerf Pole Target

Building on my first Nerf targets (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2499284), I wanted a vertical (pole) target. My horizontal targets are made to return to vertical after you shoot them. I wanted my pole targets to face you after you shoot them as well, so I designed them with cams so that the weight of the targets will (after a spin or two from being shot at) do just that. I call this particular set of targets my "Funny Faced Animals" target. Obviously, you could print up Dinosaurs, Pumpkins, Villains, etc. for yours. Since I wanted these to be strong enough for Nerf Balls, I made the slot that holds the CDs large enough to handle 3 sheets of label paper per side. Trust me, we experimented enough to know that you NEED 3 sheets per side for the Nerf Balls. If you're only using Nerf Darts, you can get away with only one sheet per side. The stand was made by customizing the Strong Customizable Pole Stand by LKM (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1902885). It's nice and strong. He did a great job on it! I added a 6 sided dice to this to make it a game. You roll the dice and have to shoot whatever the dice shows. Count your shots. The next person takes a turn. Low score wins. If the loser's score is more than 5, he (she) steps forward one step for the next turn. If the loser's score is less than 5, everyone steps back one step for the next turn. Certainly you don't need the dice, but it is a nice extra. A note on the pictures on the dice. I used the center part of the CD labels that you normally throw away (I don't, I know I can always find a way to re-purpose things). I'll no doubt be adding a 5 sided dice to my original Nerf Targets. What you see in the picture requires: 1. One Walmart arrow shaft (I made all the holes .31" in diameter and I say the store because I haven't seen them cheaper anywhere else) 2. Six Used (preferably) CDs or DVDs 3. Enough CD labels to put on three sheets per side with the top sheet printed with whatever target you decided upon. 4. Hot melt glue to hold the CDs in the Nerf Cam T (make sure you put the CDs on the right way and not upside down) and to hold the Nerf Cam B on the shaft (make sure they're all in alignment!) 5. Three Nerf cam B (bottom) 6. Three Nerf cam T (top) 7. One Pole stand all (I included the base and the feet as separate STLs in case you break one ;) . 8. One Dice (optional) 9. Target pictures for the CDs (and dice)
