Nerf Rival Knockout Priming Handle Cover (Faux Extended Mag)

I was looking for a cosmetic mod that would camouflage the Nerf Rival Knockout's priming handle into a faux extended magazine, and ended up coming across these 2 designs: Nerf Knockout XX-100 Extended Mag Pull Extended Mag Knockout Pull Both of these designs have elements that I wanted, but they had yet to be combined together: in short, this remix is effectively the former's cosmetic appearance combined with the latter's internal measurements. An M3 screw is then inserted through the hole of the push rod to give the assembly some extra stiffness. Make note that as the cover wraps around the extruding "teeth" at the bottom of the grip, the faux extended mag has to be removed first before any subsequent attempt to disassemble the blaster. TheRobotDragon issues a caution in the original design that I'll reiterate here: please be aware that there's an increased risk of pinching your fingers with this form factor compared to the stock priming handle. The magazine shape is also generally not as ergonomic nor as suitable for extended play, so exercise proper restraint wherever adequate. I personally did not experience these issues, but I could definitely see how the prime could get uncomfortable after a while. Now that the non-fun stuff is out of the way, if what you're after is some righteous tacticool "middle management" at the office, you know what you're here for. # Hardware - (1) 20mm M3 Screw - (1) M3 Hex Nut - (2) 8mm M2.6 Screws (or reuse the stock priming handle's screws) Print in the given orientation so that the grain of the plastic is parallel to the pull direction of the priming rod. I suggest threading the M2.6 screw holes prior to assembly. The small notches in the grip portion can be rounded out with some needle files, since that's faster than increasing resolution (and seeing as the rest of the model doesn't really have any deco to account for).
