Seeing as the Nerf branded rechargeable battery is no longer made or available for cheap, let's make our own, using a Sub-C NiMH pack. Needed: 7.2v or 9.6v NiMH pack Matching connector (2) 20mm stamping blanks (copper, nickel, nickel silver, something that can be soldered) Wire Solder Soldiering Iron (2) M3 x 20mm Machine screws Solder wire leads to the top of the stamping blanks, as shown, to make the contacts. Slide into the appropriate slots (positive is in the back of the blaster), feeding the wire out the other side. If soldered as shown, the stripped wire you soldered will face towards the outside. Press the wire cover into place. Attach your chosen connector to the wire leads. Place battery into the tray and connect. Attach the last printed piece with machine screws to secure the battery in place.
