Nerfgun aka Foamdart thrower from scratch

<p>Yep, we are going to build a nerf gun.</p> <p>In action and assembly: <a href="https://youtu.be/y7d4247r3rE">https://youtu.be/y7d4247r3rE</a></p> <p>Why do we build another nerf gun? Easy! I was interested in how things work out on such a more sophisticated project in fusion. I was keen to learn more about Arduino stuff, and I wanted to learn more about the electronics behind.</p> <p>This project here covers the mechanical and electronical aspects of the project. There is another project to turn this into a pistol like nerf gun. And finally, I want to mount it on a rc controlled truck, like the famous Katjuscha. And due those 2 different paths down the road, this project here does not include any housing to make the nerf gun more nice. Housings and additional parts are covered by the two projects</p> <p>Katjuscha project: t.b.d.</p> <p>Nerf gun pistol: t.b.d.</p> <p>Electrics, Electronics needed:<br/> 2 quadcopter brushless motors, 2300KV or similar<br/> 2 ESCs matching your motors<br/> 1 LIPO battery<br/> 1 UBEC<br/> 1 Arduino<br/> 1 standard servo<br/> 1 potentiometer<br/> some resistors according to circuit layout<br/> 1 LED<br/> Cables and stuff</p> <p>Mechanical parts needed:<br/> all the printed stuff, where you need to print each part once except the flywheels. Nerf guns are no toys.</p> <p>Attention: thing in progress. Keep an eye for updated parts.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I printed all parts without support in .25 layer height on my Prusa I3 Mk3. Infiill was cubic 15%. Filament was PLA from DasFilament.</p> <p>Exceptions:<br/> Flywheels: overload with shells to make it solid<br/> Arduino holder: support from bed</p> <p>I refuse to deliver GCode, since I find it quite a bad idea by Prusa to deliver GCode. Use your friendly PrusaSlicer and create the GCode yourself.</p>
