Nest Cam Wall Plug

Nest Cam Wall Plug

This is a simple plug / grommet that plugs the hole left by a 7/8" drill bit, while encasing the Nest camera cord. Background: The Nest outdoor camera has a USB connector to supply it with power. This requires you to drill a fairly large hole (7/8") into your outside wall to pass the USB plug through. This then leaves a large unsightly gap. This plug encases the Nest camera power cord and fills the hole left by the drill bit. It is two halves so you can "wrap" the cord with this plug after you have installed your camera. One each side of the "plug" is placed on either side of the flat cable, gently tap it into the hole to provide a secure fit. The "plug" has a rectangular channel in it to match the Nest camera cord, but could be easily modified to accommodate round cables such as antenna cables, sprinkler wires, etc. It's nothing fancy, but solved a need for me.
