Netgear 5 Port Switch - Side Mount Bracket

Netgear 5 Port Switch - Side Mount Bracket

thingiverse

Welcome to my first project post. With the ever growing list of projects I am working on, I always find myself looking for a good place for my Netgear Switches....I always have 2 or 3 kicking around. I had a couple nice mounting spots for them, but Velcro was not cutting it anymore....so with my new found 3D printing obsession decided to dive into the design and printing of a bracket that would fit my needs. After a couple tries and learning much along the way, I came up with this design....which works for me. It's not perfect but works. I have used so many designs from the community I thought I would share and hopefully someone out in that big old world can use as well. Prints well, standing for strength, I have done a high and medium speed prints (I have made 4 versions, this is the latest - this one includes minor design changes that should not effect printing and fit tolerances at all). I will post some picks of the final printing once completed....the last one printed only had 1 top bracket and was not snug enough for me and the mount holes were a little hard to get to...both fixed on the version posted. I did add two version, same design - realized one version had my initials on it (arrogant, I know)...so removed and replaced with Netgear. Enjoy!
