Hi, we're New York Calling–a group of New Yorkers mobilizing the creative community to create PPE. For the past few months we've been printing and distributing newborn face shields to expecting mothers and labor and delivery units at hospitals. Our file is now OPEN SOURCE here: https://www.newyorkcalling.org/newborn-face-shield Please note we have consulted medical professionals and these shields are meant to be worn from a short time like from hospital to home. Please consult your doctor with any further questions. We want to be clear this isn't meant as a fail-safe but pregnant moms were asking us for these, and the desperate situation in NYC meant we reacted accordingly. These newborn shields have been used by medical professionals and medical settings like Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx.
