The News Paper Briquette Maker helps you to recycle old paper documents into easy to make briquettes for a fire! Simply soak paper in a bucket and load into the bottom half of the device, put the top on and compact it using the wood handle. Then push up on the bottom plate to release the newly formed brick, set it out to fully dry and repeat! This device was made using 3/8 inch steel rod but anything that can fit in the holes ans handle some force will also suffice. The handles were made of 1x4 I had laying around and ripped it to the following dimensions. You need to cut 4 - 1x.75 12 inches long. For the ends of the handle the first one is 4.25 inches long and the second is 5.75 inches long, both are 1x1.5 inches. Using 8-1.25 inch with flat top screws were used to anchor the tops to the handle.
