***** I highly recommend updating the "xycorr" variable to the proper compensation value for you individual printer. The value for my printer is the default. You can figure out the proper value by printing a calibration cube and dividing the measured cube size by the theoretical cube size. ***** This is a cap to keep dust out of my Newtonian telescope (MEADE 114EQ-DH). The handle and cap are printed separately so they have a better surface finish, and the parts should click as they snap together. My print of the design fits well. Since it is hard to get tight part tolerances for a friction fit, I added thin leafsprings that compensate for any error. When customizing the cap for a different bore, the .scad file will automatically undersize the part according to the "clr" variable. The parameters should all have comment explanations, but let me know if something isn't clear. The quote is from Einstein: "I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."
