DIY art again.

This time it's Newtons Cradle with 10 balls. :)

Instructions

You will need about 2 meters of some 5 mm diameter rod.

10 balls (I used 40 mm steel balls).

About 4 meters of nylon string (depending of your chosen size of the cradle of course).

Superglue.

20 small screws to lock the nylon string with.

A base to build on (I used just normal 20 mm thick wood plank).

You can make the cradle in any (reasonable) size. :)

The hardest part is to line up all the balls. They have to be in line in all directions (X,Y and Z). This is why I used the "Screw-Lock-Function" on the Pole-Holders.

You can find all different versions of the parts in the SKP-file.

Good luck!
Category: Art
