Nexus 5 Bike Mount (Giant Escape 3)

NOW WITH INDUCTIVE CHARGING This is a bike mount for the Google Nexus 5 Smartphone for use on the handlebar stem on a Giant Escape 3. It should be useable on other Giant bikes however I have not tested any other bikes. The mount is attached to the stem using zipties, it is reccomended to apply some electrical tape to the contact surface to prevent wriggle. IMPORTANT: Made for naked Nexus 5 with or without a screen protector. The current version is a bit tight, I will upload a second version with a better fit as soon as I have tested it out. EDIT*: Uploaded version 2 with a slightly looser fit to prevent scratching. Still secure though! EDIT2*: Uploaded version 3 with built in inductive charging capabilities! Of course you may have to change the dimensions slightly to accomodate different QI coils. I got rid of the tab as there was no space for it. As of now, the phone fits snugly so it shouldn't slip off. Instructions Printed the file with support on a Makerbot 2 using: 8% Fill 2 Shells 0.3mm Layer Height Use zipties to mount onto the bike. Also if it isn't already obvious, rotate the object such that the "nexus" text is upright.
