I was enamored of BLeds Nexus 5 case, but wanted some changes. Here is a derivative with the changes. Currently I am using one printed in glow-in-the-dark abs. 08/23/2016 - The resulting print is too fragile for practical use. I glued some cracks together and it works fine. In fact with the slits, the model could be printed a little smaller. 08/24/2016 - Ninja flex printed ok. It fused tightly to the kapton tape on a few of the letters. Since it is so flexible it can be printed a little bit smaller. Also the earphone jack needs widened for larger male jacks. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: I tested at 15% fill Layer .2 1 Shell Feed Rate 30/30 The open scad file assumes that the BLedNexus5.stl file is in the same directory. This is the reason, the scad file renders as just a green plank here. It can't find the file. Custom Section Changes The Customizer will let you enter your emergency contact number, and incise it on the smooth side of the print. So if you lose the phone, and someone finds it, they can call you. The Customizer also will let you set a scale factor as part of the parameters that you enter, in case you need to make it larger or smaller. There are slits in each corner of the case. This is intended to make it possible to put the phone into, and remove it from the case several times without breaking the case. The usb connector hole has been made bigger, so that at least my cord will plug into it firmly. Some holes have been added in the general area of the speakers, so more sound gets through. This is very much a work in progress, so I would be interested in any feedback you might have.
