If you like what you see here, consider leaving a tip. Combine a Nexus 7 (2013) with a Symbol LS3408 laser barcode scanner. Instructions Remove the screws from the scanner and remove the circuit board. Solder a usb cable to the back of the RJ50 connector and re-assemble the the scanner running the usb cable through the top of the scanner. The original screws can be used to connect the scanner to the printed tablet back. Connect the male end of the usb cable to a USB OTG cable and stuff the cable/connectors in the printed tablet back. Use a screen protector, and 2.2 mm craft foam all around the tablet to protect from shock/abrasion. Use screws to attach the printed halves together.
